Semper Gumby! Welcome aboard . . .
So just what is Starship Nova Nova? What does the icon represent? A couple of somewhat consistent notions have emerged. A former crew member suggested, “The gears right off the bat gave me the feeling that Nova Nova was like a repair ship or support craft . . . like the naval ships that pull up on subs to do repairs.” Armed with the knowledge that “Nova” in Spanish means “no go,” her child proclaimed, “Great! then it is a double negative with Nova Nova and it will go!”
Tara agreed, “. . . it gives off the vibes that we are the mechanics… the ones that build and repair the starship. Without us… it will definitely no va (no go).”
“We’re the ones that make the machinery, the technology, work – to make the starship go,” I thought. I also thought the icon might be construed as a monkey wrench tossed in the works.
Even between the stars and galaxies, Starship Nova Nov is subject to forces of that bind the cosmos together. In the following video clip, A Capella Science explains a few of those attractive and unifying forces.
